The main purpose of this application is to keep track of
your current cashflow and make plans for the future. You can
keep your eyes on every single penny you spend, therefore
you can see where you can save money. Many more features are

Budgeting
We are working to enable users to track and plan their
own financing. In the future
periods, it will be
possible to set a budget to a
group, which will be included
in the calculation of the hanging money. Hanging money,
which is the amount of money that has not been allocated
to any of the groups nor saving. A hanging money is
calculated in every period. The budget and realized transactions are conditionally taken into
account. If the value of the budget is greater than the amount of realized transactions, it is
taken into account,
otherwise it is calculated with the amount of real expenses or income.
This gives us the opportunity to plan ahead for future
periods, since the planned budget money is included in
the calculation of hanging money. We see how much money
we haven't used.

Loan tracking
You can track your loans within the app. Go to the Loans
page, where you can create a loan. You must enter the
loan amount, the date of the first repayment and the
term of the loan. After filling in all the fields, you
can check whether the amount paid corresponds to
reality. If this is correct and you create the loan, the
system will automatically create recurring transactions
and update the loan status day by day. If you subscribe
to updates, you can receive notifications about your
status.

Future plans
As below mentioned, you can plan ahead and control your
future incomes. To do this, you can create period ahead
and start your budgeting. If you are in the current or
future period, you have to option to set budget to a
group. The hanging money will automatically calculate
based on the groups budget or transactions amount
(whichever is bigger). Now with this, if you set all
your expenses you will able to see how much money you
have left in that period.
To planning one or two period ahead is a must for saving
up money and cut unneccessary expense. If you using
Hooldbudget for the first time or you started not long
ago, you will notice that your expense may vary. Most of
the times that the reality costs are bigger than what
you planned. A possible explanation is that what you
thought your costs were actually different from reality.
But don't worry, after time, if you manage your money
more and more, you will see what is the reality. Either
you can adjust your budget to more for reality or you
can analyze what you spent and make optimization for the
future.

Virtual card
Think of a virtual card like its a bag of transactions. To create, first you have to setup
the
properties:
- name
- starting balance - this represent your current money balance, that where you want to
start
- locale - it is for showing the amounts properly according to your choice
- currency - inside the card, all the transactions has to be the same currency
- secondary currency (optional) - however, you can display all the showed amounts in a
different currency with day-to-day updated real life exchange rate
- custom exchange rate (optional) - you don't have to see with today's exchange rate, you
can setup this manually if you want to see with like with historical data or guessed
future data

Virtual card is a concept of splitting the transactions which come from a
going to a
different place. Like your cash wallet or bankcard. But also you can create for one-time
events which can require prepare, like travels.

Period
Inside a card you want to sort your transaction into budgeting periods. It can be
month-to-month, but it does not have to start at the end of the month. It can start when your
payday is. Once you set your preferences, the application will create your first period after
creating a new virtual card. The period will start on the day of the creation and will end
before a new period will create. You can modify anytime any of your periods starting and ending
date. Like if you don't get your paycheck on time, or it delayed because of the weekend, you
can adjust the date.

Group
Groups are just describing the transactions type. You can name this categories. You can rename,
reorder your groups and set an emoji and a budgeting value for it. It represent an assumption
for the future. See details
here. Whenever a new period created,
it will copy all the groups from the previous period. However, the normal one-time transactions
will not be copied. But the repeated transactions will be created and placed in its proper
groups.

Transaction
Transaction is self-explanatory. It is your income or expense log. When creating a new, can be
set the:
- name
- value
- date
- group - where to be placed in. Can be existing or new
- transaction type - it will be automatic if you choose an existing group
- transaction items (optional) - here you can list the items belongs to this transaction
(e.g., if you logging a grocery transaction, you can write in the items as well)
- repeating
- repeating type (if repeating is selected) - you can specify when the type of the
repeating. It can be a specific day in a month or day range.

Sharing
All the card can be shared with anyone who has an active account. It is useful for joint
household or for some events where you share your expenses with someone.
When sharing, you invited person can be viewer and editor. When the invited
is a viewer, he cannot do any edit, only observe. You can share cards in the Cards
page.

Transfer
On the cards page, you have the ability to transfer money virtually between cards. Just like
in real life. If you have two virtual cards, one for cash manage and one for bank card, and
you moving money from or to your bank account to/from cash, then you do this in the app as
well. You can transfer with currency difference. You can add the exchange rate of the
transfer.
